PMC with Carol Kimball

These are the two fine silver (Precious Metal Clay) pieces I made in the class. The piece on the left is meant to be a vessel. I wil make some beaded ‘flowers’ to go in it.

Exploring Art Materials with Mary Jo McGraw

Here is the piece I did in Mary Jo’s class. We used a lot of Golden products, which I love!

Watercolor Marbling with Diane Maurer-Mathison

These are the papers I made. I really enjoyed this class. I’d done Suminagashi before, but watercolor marbling is a lot more complicated.

Shell Bracelet for my Dear Sister

I found these shells on the beaches of Gulf Shores, AL. The reddish beads are Spiny Oyster – I happend to find them in a great bead shop (Blue Girl Beading Co.) in Gulf Shores. My sister, who is still back on Cape Cod, is a lover of the sea. I made her this bracelet for her birthday.

This time last year, I went to Artiscape, an art retreat. I’m not going this year, but here are a few things I made last year.

The ‘mascot’ was a bee…and, you know, I always have dead bugs hanging around.

We had to decorate a craft box for auction…mine went for $75 – I couldn’t believe it!

I made this pendant to go with the box.
